BSc Cardiac Care Technology
B.Sc. Cardiac Care Technology is a 4-year undergraduate program including an internship, that trains students to assist cardiologists in diagnosing and treating heart-related conditions. The course covers subjects including human anatomy, physiology, cardiac evaluation techniques like ECG and echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, biomedical instrumentation, patient care, and advanced cardiac therapies.
Students learn to operate advanced cardiac diagnostic equipment, perform cardiac monitoring, and assist in invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures. Graduates can work as cardiac technologists, ECG technicians, echocardiography technologists, cardiac catheterization lab technicians, and in other critical cardiac care roles, supporting cardiologists in hospitals and specialized cardiac centers.
